Join the family and expand your horizons! Overview: The Operations Manager is responsible for production, shipping, receiving and warehouse functions in a multi-shift site. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: Plant operations leadership providing an environment that fosters a satisfied and engaged workforce conducive to Lean/Continuous Improvement structure and activities Provide leadership and direction for continuous improvement in the plant processes and systems Operate a safe work environment that exceeds OSHA requirements and assures that all production, shipping, receiving and warehouse operations are in compliance with corporate policies and government regulations with employee and customer safety as a priority Ensure that manufacturing works under the guidelines of the Corporate Quality Management System with Quality as a key priority Meet or exceed all customer requirements (e.g. on-time shipments) with excellent service and quick resolution of customer complaints and issues Assure that manufacturing equipment is utilized efficiently to produce high quality products where the return on investment is maximized Detailed management of demand, capacity and production scheduling for multiple production lines to balance customer service, efficiency and cost Management of distribution of product to customers and sister sites (efficiency and on-time delivery) Assure that key performance measures are implemented and used to facilitate sustained levels of improvement. Plan the use of human capital.  Organize recruitment and placement of required staff.  Establish organizational structures and work schedules.  Supervise staff.  Develop training plans and opportunities for career growth.  Monitor and evaluate performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and projects to significantly improve plant throughput and reduce manufacturing cost. Implement initiatives to reduce cost and lower inventory    Assist Plant or Regional Manager in developing annual plant operating budget and control spending per approved budget. P&L involvement and engagement Other related duties as instructed by the supervisor. Job Specifications/Skills: Minimum 5-years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing facility. Previous experience in building materials industry or similar environment (e.g. chemicals, food packaging, etc.) a strong plus. In depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management concepts/methods (e.g. MPS, MRP/MRPII, CRP, PAC, JIT). Deep knowledge and experience of Continuous Improvement practices (e.g. Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Management (TPM), Total Quality Management as well as Reliability Centered Maintenance Physical ability to lift, move and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Self-starter who works independently and can produce results with minimal management guidance. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate teams within the plant environment. Ability to work cross-functionally with both plant and corporate personnel. 2nd language preferred, Spanish a strong plus Computer skills:  Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Access and Outlook.  Experience and use of JD Edwards as well as the creation of reports from the system Demonstrated team orientation in a cooperative environment and excellent customer service skills. Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering or Manufacturing/Industrial Management graduates preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience to include a minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience in progressively responsible positions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
