Regional Spartacote Product Champion

Overview:
This is a Senior Sales position responsible for achieving the Company sales goals for the designated product line (Spartacote) by providing direct sales and marketing effort, and through technical support and technical training of the Company Sales Force.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Introduce, demonstrate, sell and promote all current and new products in the assigned product line.
Develop and conduct training sessions and travel with Sales Representatives to teach product line products, procedures, demonstration techniques, and philosophy in dealing with customers.
Provide technical and sales assistance to distributor sales personnel, specifiers, installers and all other customers and prospects of the Division.
Maintain CRM/McGraw Hill based project tracking data base for projects involving the product line and communicate project information to Sales Force for execution of sales process.
Coordinate development, planning and execution of sales and marketing strategy, plans and tools with designated product line.
Provide jobsite support and training to installer customers as needed.
Actively participate in industry association technical committees.
Conduct architectural and engineering presentations.
Observe, record and report performance issues with products in the field.
Initiate and define new and/or improved product development projects.
Develop 1 & 3 year product line strategy with a view to improvement in rate of sales growth and profit margins.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars, industry organizations and trade shows.
Identify opportunities of other Laticrete brand material in both the SPD and TSIS Divisions. Convey information appropriately


Job Specifications/Skills:
Minimum of 5 years in Sales - with an accomplished and verifiable track record within the floor coatings, building chemical and/or concrete repair and restoration categories.
Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
Good mechanical and hands-on skills. Physical ability to conduct product demonstrations.
In field experience with the use of products within assigned product category.
Ability to learn new products and installation techniques through field experience and hands on experimentation.
Maintain a high level of responsiveness to customer needs and business integrity.
Good presentation and public speaking skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English communications. 2nd language a plus; Spanish preferred.
Computer Skills: Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent work experience.
50 to 60% minimum, some with little or no notice, frequent weekend work days.
Must have or be able to obtain a Passport.

Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
