Fulfillment Center Supervisor

Overview:
Oversee Fulfillment Center operations related to Internet orders for Laticrete products.
Essential Job Functions &
Responsibilities:
1. Receive, store, pick and ship merchandise to Internet customers.
2. Safely operate power equipment (i.e., forklift, order picker, battery changers, scissor lifts, etc.).
3. Match individual products to pick slips and pack outer cartons in a manner that prevents damage during shipment.
4. Operate a safe work environment that exceeds OSHA requirements and assures that all plant operations are in compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
5. Investigate and bring to resolution customer complaints and/or damage claims.
6. Handle all supervisory responsibilities for assigned personnel including recruiting, hiring, training, work performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions per company policy.
7. Utilize barcode scanning equipment to record shipping data and complete processes related to pick/pack/ship of customer orders, inventory management, receiving of inventory and related tasks.
8. Continually evaluate cost, quality, and inventory control processes identifying and implementing ways to reduce costs, eliminate waste and reduce inventory levels. Includes regular audits and management of slow moving and no activity inventory.
9. Identify and communicate ways to improve quality, and contribute to overall Fulfillment Center results.
10. As needed, receive raw materials, containers, supplies and returned goods
11. Comply with all OSHA regulations, Hazardous Material regulations, company safety policies & procedures.
12. Physical ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds frequently.
13. Must be able to work in hot and/or cold weather conditions in open warehouse area.
Job Specifications/Skills:
1. Minimum of three (3) years shipping and warehouse experience. Fulfillment Center experience preferred.
2. Intermediate computer skills. Experience with JD Edwards, SAP or related ERP system a plus.
3. Good interpersonal skills.
4. Self-starter.
5. Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
6. 5% travel required
7. High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
Nonessential Job Functions:
1. Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
