This position is responsible for month end close, U.S. financial records, account reconciliation, and reporting for all U.S. operations.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
o Prepare and post journal entries including payroll, expense reimbursement, reclassifications, accruals, and others as required. Prepare and upload payroll, expense reimbursement and freight bill payment journal entries.
o Prepare and post all Laticrete Supercap, LLC monthly close entries and complete all accounts reconciliations.
o Reconcile all balance sheet accounts including cash, A/R, A/P, RNV, other assets and accruals.
o Maintain a spreadsheet of foreign exchange rates and update the JDE monthly.
o Generate and publish U.S. financial statements.
o Post sales transaction batches to the general ledger.
o Maintain chart of accounts.
o Assist with the annual budget preparation and the year-end audit, bank audits and tax audits.
o Set up new sales reps.
o Fixed Assets - Reconcile fixed asset accounts to fixed asset system subsidiary records each month. Process monthly depreciation and post to general ledger. Maintain detailed permanent records of all fixed asset purchases.
o Prepare annual property tax returns for all locations. Keep up to date with local property tax forms, exemptions and tax changes. Review assessments and coordinate payment of property taxes. Reconcile property tax accrual account. Prepare annual budget for property taxes for all locations.
o Research accounting questions and problems and prepare other reports as needed.

Job Specifications/Skills:
o Minimum of 3 years experience as a professional accountant.
o Must be well organized, detail oriented and have excellent analytical skills.
o Experience with ERP information systems and ability to understand and apply generally accepted accounting practices.
o Ability to prioritize and focus efforts on what makes a difference in a timely, cost effective manner.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Experience with report writing software.
o Bending and reaching to file. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds infrequently.
o Team Cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
o 5% travel required

o Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
