HRIS Specialist (2+ years experience) Contract to Perm

Overview:
The primary focus of this position is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the HRIS System. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for the HRIS and is responsible for data integrity, system testing, report writing, and process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Specialist also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Support and maintain HRIS system
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches
Collaborates with functional staff to research and resolve HRIS problems.
Recommends system/process improvements, policy changes, innovative solutions approved by leadership.
Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing business needs.
Help maintain data integrity in systems by analyzing data.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
Train clients on new process/functionally.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product, service, and support.

Job Specifications/Skills:
Three plus years of hands on HRIS experience
Thorough knowledge of XML (or HTML), and Excel
Solid understanding of HR processes and data.
Previous experience to project related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with minimum supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Team Cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
