Chemist II

Responsible for performing accurate formulation and analytical tests for cement and cementitious construction materials in accordance with Internal LATICRETE, ANSI, and ASTM procedures and other accepted methods.
Specific duties are to:
(1) conduct increasingly complex experiments on organic and/or inorganic compounds and materials; (2) devise and conduct experiments to solve increasingly complex problems; (3) evaluate and suggest new raw materials through communication with suppliers; (4) support Technical Services requests to evaluate field complaints in specific area; (5) interact with end-use customers and contractors to understand product usage, limitations, and needs; (6) assist and guide the production scale-up of new products developed and write batching formulas for the production department based upon completed and approved laboratory formulations; (7) independently process, analyze, and interpret results and data in specific area; and (8) determine Quality Control parameters for product testing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field; two years of construction materials research experience, including formulation of construction materials, building products, or related; specific experience in formulating products in a R&D lab environment; familiarity with the process of researching patents, writing invention disclosures, and other publications within the construction materials industry.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
